Hilton Hawaiian Village

The Hilton Hawaiian Village offers heavily discounted room rates to conference delegates who register for the meeting and accommodations package through the official Hep-DART conference website. Please stay tuned for additional information on conference registration and room booking.


VENUE ACCESSIBILITY

Hilton Hawaiian Village, is an accessible site, as defined by section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The online conference registration questionnaire provides an opportunity for participants with disabilities to voluntarily identify any special needs, and any noted needs are accommodated on-site. Venues for DART meetings are selected for their family-friendly nature and offer services such as daycare/babysitting to enable persons with family caregiver responsibilities to attend the conference. 


SCHOLARSHIPS

IHE is pleased to provide scholarships to women, minorities, under-represented delegates, and young investigators (below the age of 37). Scholarships may cover cost of registration, accommodations or travel, and are limited to applicants with accepted abstracts. The deadline for scholarship applications is Monday October 6, 2025 at 5pm ET. Please contact us at info@ihorizonsed.com for additional information. 


SPEAKER GUIDELINES

Important: Oral abstract presenters must show chemical structures of all compounds presented during the talk. If you do not want to show chemical structures, please let us know and we will accommodate your abstract for a poster presentation.

In order to deliver an engaging and effective presentation, please follow the guidelines below:

  • Please respect the time limit of your presentation 

  • Include concise introduction and background information

  • Summarize your talk by providing a summary slide at the end of your presentation

  • Include a conflict of interest slide

  • Include bibliography and sources on slides

For slide design, we suggest that you:

  • Do not use more than one minute per slide

  • Use one slide to convey one idea

  • Do not make your slides over-crowded (no more than 20 words per slide)

  • Use clear visuals instead of text when possible

  • Use bullet points instead of full sentences

  • Use large font (minimum of 18 pts)

  • Use contrasting colors that are clearly visible
